One doesn't realize how Americans have it so good with readily available meats and can buy anything now. Must have been frustrating to only obtain small amounts of rationed foods. This book made step back in time and think how difficult it was to live on just beans and what little garden items a family had. Great value new revised edition book, shipped fast, wrapped in plastic mailer.
