No instructions were provided for mounting but I did figure out a mounting method then tested it. Daytime video is okay but the shade appears at the edges at the top. At night with the night vision is activated there's so much glare on the video it distorts the picture. I tried covering the inside of the shade thinking the ridges were causing the distortions but it did change the picture.
