It would be nice if the recording was remastered, but it did not detract from the enjoyment of watching it again & worth the expenditure.

A few months, ago, I bought a copy of the dvd set of "Son of the Morning Star" from theMooviebarn. I liked the quality of the set so much that I just bought two other copies as holiday gifts for friends. I recommend both the dvd sets and the dealer, who shipped my purchases promptly and packaged them well. The prices of the dvd sets are also very reasonable.

The picture quality was marginal and the audio no better than Dolby 2.0, but it is generally historically accurate and depicted the events leading up to the Battle of the Little Big Horn and the post-Civil War life and romance of George Armstrong Custer.

It was a made for TV movie starring Kristy McNichol, Dennis Quaid, and Mark Hamill. Mark Hamill made this movie in 1981 in between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I had such a huge crush on Dennis Quaid. Awesome seller! Responded to my offer quickly. Well packaged. Fast shipping. Very very he very happy with this purchase!
