The new microswitch satisfactorily replaces the failed microswitch on the upper latch of my Tappan microwave oven's door (manufactured in 1989). The oven now again operates correctly like when new. I also replaced the burned-out incandescent light bulb while the cabinet was open.

I can only imagine what they went through to get to me? Fortunately, none of them were broken, but not due to care in packaging.
