It adds to the comfort as they don't have the same bulk to knock items over or cause tripping. You may have to straighten the inner top lining, depending on what your socks are made of, then they cradle your whole foot up to the ankle very comfortably. The inner sole padding isn't too thick to cause you to wobble until flattened. I love the colours & way they look which is why I wanted them. Arrived on time.
