The D-Link DWA182 has Wi-Fi protected access on WPA and WPA2 and Wi-Fi protected setup with PIN and PBC. It features an integrated antenna and is a small, discrete device. It measures 3.8 inches by 1.1 inches by 0.5 of an inch and weighs only 20.5 grams. The adapter is easy to take with you if you need to connect your laptop to public Wi-Fi, and it comes with a protective cover. The D-Link DWA-182 Wireless Adapter is supported on Windows SP3, XP, 7, and 8. The D-Link DWA-182 Wireless AC 1200 Dual-Band USB Adapter has a 5.0V DC operating voltage with a power consumption of 510 mA on USB 3.0 and 450 mA on USB 2.0. The device can be used in most any environment that your computer will be in. The operating temperature is 32 degrees to 104 degrees Fahrenheit and operating humidity is 10 percent to 90 percent.
