Customers buying new sets of wheels from any vendor should consider inspecting the spur gears on the inside of the existing rear wheels that they already own. The spurs may also need replacement if the teeth are broken or worn down. Even if they are in serviceable condition they still must be reused and moved to the new wheels anyway. It makes perfect sense to replace both at the same time.

The rear gears from the old wheels fit, as expected. The only downside is they came with no replacement cap covers. Not a huge deal, though since the old cap covers fit (they just look dirty after 30 years). Great product. Thanks!!
