Whether you need audio equipment for video blogging, radio broadcasting, public speaking, or other audio and video projects, Sony lavalier microphones of this type offer competitive professional capabilities and high production value.The omnidirectional cable wired ECM44B microphone can be discreetly attached with a clip beneath your shirt lapel so that you can record or project hands-free without your sound equipment getting in the way. Its cable wired sound capsule is 14.5 millimeters long, and it has an 8.5 millimeter diameter, allowing it to be easily hidden. Further adding to your convenience is the mic’s power cable, which has a total length of 9.8 feet. This Sony electret mic uses a single AA battery for its power supply. One battery will provide up to 6,000 hours of power. An external microphone amp can also be used as a power supply. Phantom power is not supported.The Sony clip lavalier microphone has an XLR 3-pin output plug type. With the XLR connector, Sony’s wired lavalier condenser mic is compatible with most professional audio equipment and accessories. These microphones feature an electret condenser capsule type. Like many Sony lavalier and traditional microphones, this mic model has an omnidirectional polar pattern, allowing it to clearly receive sound from all possible directions. As a part of its pro audio capabilities, it has a frequency response range of 40 to 15,000 hertz.
