Linda Kay Burk Captures the Magic of Childhood There are very few people in the world that can actually truly find the child within and bring joy to children and families through music. Inside Linda Kay Burk's mind exists a fun, mystical, and exciting place where princesses, griffins and other creatures of fantasy roam. It's like the perfect birthday party, or a "Rainbow Bubble", a song featured on her new album "Sunshine Is Love". Linda must own a pair of ruby slippers, because she is able to find the childlike part of herself and turn it into a song for everyone to enjoy. Linda Kay Burk's CD, 'Sunshine is Love': This CD has some wonderful new songs. Her gentle, soothing and affirming music and lyrics come from a place deep within her wrought by hard work and life's experiences. "I have worked hard for many years to achieve healing, peace and happiness in my own life," she says. "My songs have emerged from that healing journey. Everything I am I owe to the experiences of my life." These songs were beautifully arranged by Brian Jensen and span from full orchestral sonorities to cheerful rhythmic colors. -Steven Lerud,Lakeview Recording Studio.
