The shipping price was fair. Once I finally received the piece, the head and body of the bird was sticky, not from packaging. I had to clean it with an antibacterial cleaner, as I had no idea what it was. So I wouldn't say the item was "as described." For the price I paid, a long wait and having to clean the item I guess it was worth the price.
