I don’t think it actually cost nearly $6 to ship a sock that could have probably been mailed in an envelope with a stamp. Packaging was disappointing; the carton had been crushed during transit but very fortunately the item was not damaged despite it being able to rattle around inside the box. More protective packing around the doll would have reduced the risk of damage.
