I needed something to help me see small electrical components as I solder them. The 10X magnifier is perfect for seeing even the smallest components and the lamp provides enough light to see clearly. It even has different color light modes that enhance viewing by cutting down on glare. I clamped the lamp to my desk to save space and I can swing the lamp out of the way when I don't need it. if it lasts, it will be a great purchase!
