Underneath I use 2 stainless pump intake screen filters filled with activated charcoal. Much cheaper than defective 2 lawsuit berkey filters. The pump intake screen filters unscrew so I can change the charcoal easily. Well made housing that stops algea and has a sight glass. Worth every cent.
