Love emerged out of Los Angeles' culture-shifting mid-'60s music scene, and their pioneering, psychedelic folk-rock sound proved profoundly influential. One of the first integrated acts in pop music the visionary Arthur Lee's brainchild was also the first rock band signed to Elektra.
