Plan on using some self tapping screws to install it. The sticky backing helped with initial placement, but it wouldn’t have help up by itself. This thing pivots around in every direction imaginable. It has a very compact design/doesn’t take up much space at all. Everything feels sturdy/well made. The faceplate cable went in at a tight angle, but I managed to get it in there with some fidgeting. Overall, very good product.
