In hindsight, I would recommend changing the gasket every time you replace the battery. Just like engine parts, the gaskets get smooshed once torqued down. They never really seal up as well once the seal is broken. Mine began fogging recently. I had changed the battery a few years ago, but reused the original gasket.

It has been a week + now since I placed this order and have not received any shipping info as of yet, even though the date stated I would receive this item has passed by some 3 days now. I will wait the allotted time and hope this vendor will ship, or at least communicate with me. Perhaps there is an issue with this order I am not aware of, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
