The three pin plug holds tight in the radio. I replaced the negative 4 amp fuse with the higher amperage one from my old cord. The cord is working well.

Using the factory wiring in the truck are often too small. Using this larger wire and connecting directly to the vehicle’s battery will give more amperage which leads to more wattage available for the CB.
