Convert SDI or HD with SDI to HDMI to drive HDMI monitors seamlessly and efficiently with Aja HI5 Converter. This converter has a full HDMI support, including eight channels and 10-bit video. This 2-channel Aja product converts SDI, HD-SDI/SDI, and 3g-sdi signal inputs to HDMI. This allows you to enjoy a wide variety of media through your modern television set. It has an embedded SD/HD-SDI audio that allows you to complete a reliable single cable audio/video connection. Its looping SD to HD combined with SDI output can be used to connect other equipment. You can also use it for home security systems and other closed-circuit monitoring activities. The Hi5 also provides a looping SDI/HD-SDI output that accepts multiple accessories at once. This type of setup is useful for connecting additional equipment such as vintage video cameras. It also comes in handy for daisy chaining multiple monitors to the same SDI-HD-SDI source. Connecting multiple screens to the same input source allows you to perform professional level video editing and monitoring functions. If you need a separate audio monitoring device, you can use the converter's two-channel, RCA-style audio outputs. These RCA outputs allow you to connect the converter to home theater accessories such as speakers and subwoofers. These mini-converters allow you to send output that is crisp and clear for a great audio surround-sound experience. A locking power connector on this converting unit ensures that the connections cannot be loosened or jiggled. This product also has an optional P-TAP power cable that allows for battery power in remote locations. You can bring this Aja converting unit out with you to your cabin in the woods and use it with a vintage TV if you wish. It has a battery life of about 12 hours, which provides you with several evenings of watching your favorite films. This Aja unit also has an app for turning on the signal conversion and updating the product's settings. You can set up the converting system with just a few taps on your smartphone. The condition and the packaging of this bass exceeded the quality I expected from an open box item. The bass was shipped double boxed with bubble wrap. Fender could learn from Adorama about shipping quality. This purchase was a value far beyond expectation. I would buy from them again!
