The unprecedented 14th expansion pack to Sony's persistent world role-playing game introduces new abilities, spells, and items to master in the strange realm of Faydwer. An evil necromancer named Meldrath the Malignant has created a flying fortress in his bid for world conquest. His scorched earth policy has opened up new paths to a continent long forgotten. Located beyond the Steamfront Mountains, Faydwer is home to dwarves, wood elves, gnomes, and an assortment of powerful monsters. <br><br>EverQuest: Secrets of Faydwer increases the level cap to 80 and enables intrepid explorers to equip heroic items as a reward for great feats. These items provide distinct bonuses to statistics in the following seven attributes: agility, charisma, dexterity, intelligence, stamina, strength, and wisdom. Secrets of Faydwer also includes new zones, non-player characters, and interactive objects. The original EverQuest and all previous expansions are available on the DVD-ROM, along with a 30-day trial to Sony's online service.
