After signing to Southern powerhouse label Trill Entertainment, Webbie blasted onto the scene in 2005 with "Gimme That" featuring Bun B that eventually reached #4 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart and #29 on the Billboard Top 100 chart, leading the single to be certified Gold by the RIAA. With his debut album SAVAGE LIFE being released shortly after selling 386,724 units, Webbie solidified himself as a mainstay in the South. With his follow up SAVAGE LIFE 2 in 2008, Webbie topped himself with the single "Independent" reaching #9 on the Billboard Top 100 chart and #1 on the Hot Rap tracks. The result of this massive hit was SAVAGE LIFE 2 landing at #4 on the Top 200 albums chart and #1 on the Top Rap chart eventually selling 250,602 units to date. With SAVAGE LIFE 3, Webbie plans to further cement his standing in the upper echelon of down south rappers. With the first single "What's Happenin'" already making moves online and on radio, SAVAGE LIFE 3 will continue Webbie's win streak to 3 albums in a row debuting in the Top 10.
