He offered to cancel the order or he would send a second plate also damaged to make up for the situation. We chose to accept the two plates. They arrived safely packed, both damaged prior to shipping. It was kind of the seller to try to make up for the error in the listing. As a buyer, we appreciated his efforts. Now that we see the damage, we would not have bought the item.

Now relisted as 'no damage' again. Very dishonest. Misleading sellers like this make buying collectibles risky.
