NotesVinyl LP repressing. Born in America, the fifth release from Riot would be the last album to feature vocalist Rhett Forrester, guitarist Rick Ventura, drummer Sandy Slavin and bassist Kip Leming; possibly the band's most revered lineup. Born In America was much more of a Heavy metal album then it's predecessor's, setting the tone for Riot's progression towards a heavy sound on their next album, Thundersteel. Includes the tracks ‘You Burn In Me’, ‘Wings Of Fire’, ‘Where Soldiers Rule’ and many others. The band would normally take a year or two between albums, but after Born In America and the departure of Forrester, it would be another five years before they would surface again.
