He dismissed the issue, claimed the smell was “normal,” offered to swap the strap (with another of the same quality), and showed no apology or basic courtesy. After pushing back, I was offered just £4 on a £33 watch. Overall poor communication, no accountability, and not worth the hassle. I send out about 700 watches a year with this strap - Draw your own conclusions!
