I would've preferred if it were a little cheaper, but it's very well made and does its job perfectly with no change to the outward appearance of my console. I installed it in an SCPH-39001, and while angling the power board into position was trickier than the instructions made it sound, installation was easy and my PS2 is now almost silent while moving at least as much air as the OEM fan.

A breeze to install this Stealthworks PS2 Fat Quite Fan Mod - great professional 20 step leaflet with pictures and detailed instructions. Quality product. I'm still in shock as going from the noisy stock standard PS2 fan (which sounded like a jumbo jet on the runway throttling up for takeoff) to this fan is pretty much silent - when I first powered it up I didnt think the PS2 was actually on ! Well done Stealthworks.

I don't know how nobody on Youtube or social media is talking about it. A much better alternative to the more invasive Noctua fan mod.
