The felt is very sturdy for the cats to scratch. Nice gray color and doesn't appear to pick up dirt or cat fur. I really like this product.

Kaylee was more hesitant, but she enjoys it even more. By the next day, she was lying on her side next to it, holding on with all four paws and "walking" round and round it, sliding sideways across the floor. It's a great product, and well worth the money. Thank you!
