From the pub rock-influenced sound of their 1978 debut album (which includes the hit single "Sultans Of Swing") to the slickly produced 1985 album Brothers In Arms ("Money For Nothing", "Walk Of Life") and their swan song On Every Street in 1991, this set spotlights the songwriting and guitar talents of Mark Knopfler and his Dire mates. Contains the albums: Dire Straits (1978), Communique (1979), Making Movies (1980), Love Over Gold (1982), Brothers In Arms (1985), and On Every Street (1991). All albums have been re-mastered, with all original artwork restored, the six albums are packed in a handsome box set slipcase.

    Excellent seller! Item quickly shipped and arrived promptly in well-packed box. Item just as described. Although it would be been cheaper to order directly from Rhino, my personal experience with Rhino's shipping has been so dreadful that I was OK with paying more. Thrice when Rhino had shipped from USA to Europe, the CD boxed set would get stuck in a holding pattern for over a month in a depot somewhere in NJ for no good reason before finally crossing the pond and even then to a different city!

    It was very well packaged and shipped fast. The only issue I have with the vinyl is the appearance. There is a tear in the plastic seal that’s very noticeable. For the price I was not expecting that. It was also not mentioned on the listing. Either way I’ll still buy from this seller
