Just the weight of the fabric makes it stretch in width and length, making it a couple of inches wider than the photos indicate. I have a lot of Nautica sweaters and polos, and Nautica typically run true to size, but this one is more like a large than a medium. Not the sellers fault! Seller communicated well, item was well-packed, and delivery was lightning fast!
