It is thicker has a soft mat interior and it has protection for the screen on both the backside and the front side with raised edges and especially around your camera lens. It’s really quite large so that is very difficult for something to hit it. It’s much tougher and thicker than I would say a normal one the does not compare at all. Also, all your controls are very easy to use and the screen is very reactive.
