They give off a good amount of white light. The main reason I purchased was for light in my 200 yr old Cottage (with small windows) when there’s a power cut & candles/torch aren’t man enough for cooking, reading etc. But with the range of coloured tops & cords they will look fantastic in the garden on a summer’s evening. So a win win purchase for me. Am delighted. A++++++++++ ebayer. Recommend
