It might feel soft on the inside but the covering of it is not soft at all. It is quite harsh. The tog is 16.5 but that isn't for the filling, the weight is made up by the heavy covering. I gave it to the salvation army. I know someone will appreciate it.

Lightweight for summer and I will be using it to machine-quilt it into a duvet cover to boost robustness (and make it safer in a 60C wash for hygiene). I'm happy with the purchase and will be buying another to have a second set (bought the duvet and a 3pc cover and pillow slips set from the same seller).
