Sara Garcia was a legendary actress of the stage and screen, whose typical casting as a mother and then grandmother earned her the title "the grandmother of the cinema." But she was also known for her fiercely independent nature and determination, demonstrated by the story of how she had all of her teeth removed to win one of her roles. She appeared with all of Mexico's biggest stars, and gave birth to actress María Fernanda Ibáńe. This film is the story of the Mexican icon's life.
