It looks and fits as described and while it is waterproof this mattress cover still feels breathable. Would recommended to keep foam mattress topper or mattress clean of oils, using this in the past has helped prevent foam discoloration for me and helps the mattress below last longer. Strongly encourage getting this. I am sure you loose out on some mattress breathability but I'm a warm sleeper and the change doesn't bother me. YMMV but worth it to try.
