My heart broke with disappointment when what I thought was truly a "Made in Scotland" item with the UK flag on it, and it was NOT actually sewn on the scarves. IT IS A STICKER. When I washed both one label was attached to another piece of laundry. (I can't find the other label.) Now I wonder if this was actually made in another country, and NOT Scotland. I think Scotland would have had their flag, and not the UK.
