However, communication was intermittent, as the package got held up by USPS at the same location for 12 days, and the package didn't arrive for 18 days. The Ebay "item not received" process appears to have helped in prompting USPS to find and finish routing the package. But even then the package only arrived 2 days before the reimbursement process would have occurred.

You are buying it "AS IT." If they send you the wrong parts, you are stuck with it. NO RETURN AND NO MONEY BACK. BEWARE!!!! Returns were allowed if the item arrived damaged, broken, defective, or in a different condition than listed. Returns were also allowed if the incorrect item was sent that didn't match the listing. None of these were the case, it appears as though you made a mistake and ordered the wrong part. The listing clearly disclosed this info. Sorry for any inconvenience
