In the smashing first issue of this magazine from Pulp Tales Press, you will meet five of the greatest authors of the pulp era: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Erle Stanley Gardner, Lester Dent, Otis Adelbert Kline, and Frederick C. Davis. Burroughs, of course, is best know for Tarzan. His first juvenile story of the apeman is found in this issue: The Tarzan Twins. Lester Dent wrote most of the "Doc Savage" stories. In "Hell in Boxes", you will meet the Crime Spectacularist. Erle Stanley Gardner is most famous for Perry Mason. One of the earliest stories written by Gardner is included. Frederick C. Davis wrote in many genres, and we include one from the air field, "The Sky Pirate". Otis Adelbert Kline is remembered for his sci-fi stories which paralleled Burroughs. We include three short-short stories: "City Slickers", "Flaming Notes", and "Office Flirt". Completely illustrated with the original artwork.
