The hand probe works as advertised. I'm still reading the manual and watching videos to understand the detector before I take it outside. A little intimidating, but It comes on and off, just not quite sure what it's doing yet.

I reached out to the seller and they promptly shipped out the pan which i received a week later. I believe most likely the pan was stolen in transit because the factory package inside the shiping box was not sealed tape was off of it and the box was slightly open.
