Gamers head to an alternate version of 1920s Japan to deal with a virus that spread from a fallen meteorite in Dark Rose Valkyrie. When the Black Garnet fell from the sky it brought with it the Chimera Virus that transforms humans into twisted creatures with extreme strength and intelligence. This led Japan to use its covert military agency ACID (Anti-Chimera Interception Division) to form Special Force Valkyrie. Players take on the role of the young soldier Asahi Shiramine as he engages in real-time combat with Chimera and uses interrogation techniques to root out a traitor.<br><br>Members of the special force wield anti-Chimera weapons that connect to their bodies and can unleash powerful attacks, but they also drain users' energy and erode their minds. These Valkyrie weapons can be customized to perform in close quarters or from range, and gamers can collect materials to develop stronger parts for their weapons. The choices players make will eventually lead to one party member betraying the squad, and when not in combat gamers interview their fellow soldiers in Phoenix Wright-style interrogation sequences.Product Identifiers
