After communicating with the seller, they were very helpful and more than willing to send another pump. The second pump was shipped and arrived promptly. It has performed exactly as described. I contacted seller about it and the said some of their new parts do not have packaging and was sorry for the defect on the tab. I responded again explaining that a broken tab is different than a "defect" with no reply. The part is working now but definitely appears to be a used part, which is upsetting if it is listed as new. If I could do it again I would have ordered from someone else.
