The 1950s saw a huge renaissance of Horror, Monster and Vampire movies, TV shows and comics in the United States, which coincided with the arrival of Rock & Roll. This led to the appearance of a plethora of novelty discs, often on tiny, mysterious, local record labels, some of which crossed over to become hits. The "companion" to an earlier Jasmine compilation, "Monsters, Vampires, Voodoos & Spooks" (JASCD 943), this is another fun-packed, 31-track celebration of such recordings, ranging from the downright obscure to minor chart items.
