It works better to have an empty space between electrics, but it isn’t required by any means. It was brand new, easy to out together, simple to use and looks so much better than a bunch of single guitar stands.

The included plastic top mount would probably be good to say 40lb. I wol duse a steel top hat. I can't review the guitar stand and still cold use one.
