They got in contact with me immediately via Ebay messaging and apologised profusely whilst explaining the problem. I get the feeling they were genuinely disappointed for me, but no problem, the bike's not getting onto the road soon so, as I said in my message, "the quest for the part continues." Great communication - a good Ebayer. :)
