    The item was described as new, but when I received the package, the seal on the box was broken showing that it had been opened. The product showed signs of use such as water stains on the glass, a pen mark on the base and some wear on the bottom of the kettle. The product was in a good condition, but definitely not new. I messaged the seller and they were quick to offer a partial refund as compensation. While I appreciate the compensation, I felt deceived as we were looking for a new product.
