Its a really old drum from 1905, using the old flesh hoop and the new calfskin works great! I put the skin and dried for 2 days or so. It did have great rich sound, so very good work from your shop!

I stretch a lot of banjo vellums on early and vintage banjos. Unfortunately the skin I was sent is not of the quality I require. To be specific - transparent (as I requested), correct size, but far too thick and 'glassy' for use on a banjo and poorly scraped.

This skin was just the right size and it matched the item description. Delivery took almost three weeks because the first delivery went missing. Communication with the seller was fine but there was no tracking so I could not locate the parcel and the seller dispatched another skin with tracking.
