From honing their surfing skills on shore to exploring the local marine life and learning how underwater mountains helped to form the scenic island chain, Slater and friends discover why surfing isn't merely a competitive sport, but a time-honored art-form as well. Later, after soaking in the island culture, the entire group senses that the perfect wave is on the way, and suit up for a session they won't soon forget.
