Product Information
Anime and manga author Rumiko Takahashi, who made a name for herself with such fantasies as INUYASHA and RANMA 1/2, turns to dark horror with the series MERMAID FOREST. Yuta and Mana have lived for hundreds of years, cursed to wander the world as immortals after eating a mermaid's flesh. Tired of watching those around them grow old and die, the two seek out another mermaid in the hopes of discovering a reversal for their condition. VOLUME TWO: BITTER FLESH collects three episodes of the supernatural horror series. After being struck by a truck, Mana disappears from the hospital before Yuta can arrive. He searches for her, eventually finding himself in the Mermaid Forest, where a pair of creepy and mysterious women seem to know the secret of the mermaids.
