Released in 2004, Shrek 2 for the PS2 allows players to play as Shrek and nine other characters. In the game, players fight enemies, form friendships, and work to solve puzzles. This single-player experience is an exciting journey into the land of Far Far Away, and it gives gamers the opportunity to explore the environments that made the movie wondrous and magical. Produced by the major video game studio Activision, Shrek 2 received favorable ratings from nearly every major critic outlet regarding the PlayStation title. The title was hailed for its artwork as well as its interactive gameplay that lets the user explore the fantasy world. The attention to detail provided in the game helped make it a popular title released in 2004. Available for all the futuristic next-gen consoles and PCs of the era, the game appeals to a wide variety of players. Gameplay for the PS2 version is broken into separate chapters involving fairy tales and their characters. Each chapter has the player battle classic storybook foes, such as the rats infesting the Pied Piper’s town. Players may also be pitted against Puss in Boots in a showdown of skill during a bonus round. The difficulty level for the series has been described as challenging but acceptable for all ages. In this setting, fewer power-ups are available, and the enemies deal more damage. The adventure is also broken up into various mini-games. Once you complete a chapter, you are again challenged to complete a task that leads to the next adventure. For instance, in one scenario, Donkey has to chase a rogue wagon while flying on the back of a large dragon. Other tasks involve collecting items for the next scenario or battling a nefarious villain. Each of these missions is designed to have you interact with other Shrek characters and complete film-related activities for your entertainment. Concerned parents can have peace of mind in knowing that the title received the rating E for Everyone by the ESRB. Parents should always check the content of any title to see if it is acceptable for their little ones. While younger players may be the most interested in the gaming experience offered in Shrek 2, the video game is not directed toward one group of players. It’s a fun title that offers an enjoyable experience for users of all ages. Any fans of the Shrek series can find enjoyment in gaming with their favorite feature film stars. In addition to the PlayStation 2, this game is available for the Xbox, GameCube, and GBA.

    It was a positive experience in dealing with this Ebay Seller. The goods as described. I was a little apprehensive at first, but this is usual when dealing with 2nd hand item. I received the CD of David Newman. It was pack with TLC and arrived quickly. The CD were in playable condition. Good value! Minor damage only to jewel plastic cover. Still reccomended to all and I would buy from this Ebayer again. Thanks.
