It is common and could have been easily resolved with a little shoe glue. Shoes returned were trashed. Stained green, scuffs and filthy dirty. Buyer committed libel by accusing us of selling her our reject shoes. This is the only pair of shoes we had. We issued a full refund, not sure of what is unprofessional about that. A little kindness goes a long way, we would have refunded without the return.
