The title refers to more than simply the ominous prophecies of seer Michel de Nostredame: this History Channel series rests on the thesis that many doomsday foretellings similar to those of Nostradamus have surfaced throughout history, from innumerable cultures - a pattern known as "The Nostradamus Effect." Catering expressly to doomsayers, each episode explores a unique aspect of how some claim that the world as we know it will eventually end. Installments draw on a myriad of sources including Biblical prophecies, Nostradamus prophecies, hieroglyphic prophecies and more, as well as recent events and scientific detail that may corroborate information foretold in the various prophecies. This set contains all twelve episodes of Season One, including "Satan's Army," "Doomsday Hieroglyphs," "Son of Nostradamus," "Hitler's Blood Oath" and much more.

It was packed in its original case and then that package was wrapped separately inside another shipping box, it too was well done. The ornament is in pristine condition.     The plates were not wrapped individually when packed. Seller put bubble wrap around the box without protecting the individual plates so two plates were broken when the item arrived. When I notified seller that item arrived damaged, I received a response that basically said tough luck, file a claim with the USPS. Seller had to be aware the shipper needs to file the claim as the buyer does not have the required documentation. I filed a claim with eBay and received a full refund. Beware.
