It is compact, lightweight, and has some very impressive features for an entry-level mobile phone. The cellphone uses a CDMA dual band 800/1900 platform. It makes a good choice for those who believe that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.The LG Revere has a traditional, plastic clamshell form factor design, a classic for Verizon devices. Its curves and round corners make it very comfortable to hold. It is 3.78 inches long by 1.95 inches wide by 0.72 inches thick, making it a portable device. Once you flip it, you meet an impressively layered numeric keypad with a D-pad above them. The left and right D-pad keys are shortcuts for volume control and the video recorder. There is sufficient spacing between all other keys, making typing using this numerical keypad a pleasant experience.The phone’s screen resolution is nice quality. The exterior display screen measures .98 inches and features the date, time, signal strength, and battery level. Flipped open, it has a monochrome screen with 262,144 colors at 176 x 220 pixels. Its pixel density stands at 141. In addition to that, its text and general graphics are clear and vibrant. It uses TFT technology, which gives the best resolution for the screen panel. Its camera has 1.3 megapixels. It is also worth noting that it has a digital zoom with a built-in self-timer. The camera settings have an array of formatting options, which can be selected from to modify captured pictures.Verizon had everyone in mind with 35 polyphonic ringtones to choose from. In addition to that, there are 1,000 contact entries. For each entry, the user can save up to three contacts together with an email address. You can send SMS text messages, and it also has MMS support, which you can use to send multimedia text messages.
