I did a lot of research into this and wanted something I thought would be of decent quality and this setup is. Works out of the box with my MacBook Air M1 using Leawo Blu Ray Player (free but has ads). I've also downloaded the extras to get VLC working with Blu ray discs but not got it working yet. I can now play my blu ray films and hi definition blu ray audio on my laptop - something I've been wanting to do for ages. Thanks.
